Warm Popovers with Melted Butter and Honey

Makes 12 popovers

These popovers are impressive to look at and simple to make.  Serve warm with a side of Lurpak®® butter and a drizzle of honey for a special treat!

 

What you need:

  • 1½ tablespoons Lurpak® Unsalted Butter, melted, plus extra softened butter for the pan, plus warm butter for servint  
  • 1½ cups flour  
  • ¾ teaspoon salt  
  • 3 eggs, room temperature  
  • 1½ cups milk  
  • Honey, for serving 

What to do:

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Generously butter the popover pans and set aside.

Whisk together the flour, salt, eggs, milk and melted butter until smooth. Set aside.

Heat the pans in the oven for 2 minutes. Remove and fill the cups halfway with the batter. Return to the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Serve warm with Lurpak®® butter and honey.

    I clicked “print”. All I wanted was the recipe, which looks delicious by the way. I got four (!) pages. Next time I will just cut and paste the recipe to a word document unles Lurpak changes their setup so that just the recipe can be printed. That would be very helpful and more conducive to checking the website for more good recipes.
